Since joining Kerry London, Richard has led the development and transformation of the firm’s claims proposition, focusing on improving service standards, operational efficiency, management information and claims advocacy. He has overseen the handling of complex and high-value claims across a broad range of sectors, including construction, real estate, professional services and corporate clients, while working closely with insurers, loss adjusters, solicitors and underwriters to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

As Head of Claims, Richard has championed a client-first approach to claims management, ensuring that Kerry London provides proactive support from first notification through to final settlement. He has been instrumental in developing strategic initiatives designed to enhance the client experience, including claims service segmentation, major loss support, claims performance reporting and the delivery of enhanced claims advocacy services for key clients.

In his expanded role as Head of Professional Indemnity, Richard is responsible for leading and growing Kerry London’s Professional Indemnity proposition, combining technical broking expertise with his extensive claims background. This unique combination enables him to provide clients with valuable insight into risk management, policy placement, coverage interpretation and claims strategy. He works with a diverse range of professional firms, helping them secure tailored insurance solutions.

Richard is particularly recognised for his ability to manage complex coverage disputes, major losses and Professional Indemnity matters, as well as for his commitment to building long-term client relationships and delivering practical, commercially focused advice.
